Everything about this shot is lovely. The waves of motion in the sand and the still firm boardwalk that extends beyond the moment beheld. Well done.

Gorgeous scene of shadows and sands and prints in the sand with that delightful long boardwalk linking it all together!

The perspective in this photo is wonderful. Nice late afternoon shadows of the boardwalk leading us into the horizon.

The foot prints and swirls in the sand make lovely shadows as well.

Excellent, Gena! I LOve how the colour of the wood and sand are so similar yet the textures are so different.

Agree with those who noticed the perspective. I see this in two ways: going up toward the blue sky or, going down to the blue sea. A wonderful picture where we can use our imaginations!

Hi Gena,
Your shot is stunning. Love the colour mixtures.

Earthy tones and the bluesky? What can I ask for more?

Have a loveday.

Hi Gena, One can just imagine the sea; great shot! It is also interesting to see how the sand is protected by walkways. I guess it is also because of the wild flowers which
cover the sand in spring. It is a wonderful sight. I have a dear friend in Loule which I have visited in summer, the wild flowers were already seeding.
I also like the little curly head, looks like my grandson at this age.

I only was there once and I think you manage to make it more beautiful than it is!

Your lovely shot makes me want to get up from the computer and head to the beach with Molly before it gets too cold. Beautiful shadows in your marvelous photograph.
Hugs and blessings,

Great shot. Tells a story on its own. Could be anywhere. Beach, desert, or somewhere interesting. Lovely.
