Not only wonderful colors, but a very good composition.
Lovely choice for both memes! I remember seeing many such lighted fountains when I visited Europe during the summer of 1967 ... they're not as common here in the United States, at least where I live.

Thank you for your visit, Gena. i appreciate your thoughts. I agree with the quote from Dorothy Lange in your sidebar that a camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera. Isn't her "Migrant Mother" an inspiration? As I walk now, I see more intense shadows and shapes and detail. Ah, detail. The image is in the detail. A camera has led to a deeper appreciation of the decayed and the derelict, for their own sake not just because of the emotion that a well taken image of them can evoke.
