Lovely choice for both memes! I remember seeing many such lighted fountains when I visited Europe during the summer of 1967 ... they're not as common here in the United States, at least where I live. Hugs and blessings,
Thank you for your visit, Gena. i appreciate your thoughts. I agree with the quote from Dorothy Lange in your sidebar that a camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera. Isn't her "Migrant Mother" an inspiration? As I walk now, I see more intense shadows and shapes and detail. Ah, detail. The image is in the detail. A camera has led to a deeper appreciation of the decayed and the derelict, for their own sake not just because of the emotion that a well taken image of them can evoke.
Thinking Aloud is about my (almost obsessive) love for capturing the moment and my ongoing learning curve on photography. It's about places, people, adventures, travels... it's also about creating awareness of South Africa (where I live) sharing it's beauty, and whatever else may come up along the way. Welcome!

That's beautiful! So many colours :)
Wow, really nice with the color:-)
Beautiful fountains and the colors reflecting are wonderful. Great capture.
Did you have to travel far to take this shot? I'm abysmal at taking night shots. I really must try harder.
I love the cross-crossing fountains and the reflections are gorgeous!
Nice waterworks!
A triumph of colors and a gorgeous reflection.

This is an incredible scene! How nice it must have been to see it. Lovely capture of a night scene...not an easy thing to do.
