Palm Leaf (macro)

Thought for the Week:
"You can expect that something or other will crop up to make life a little difficult.  You should remember that it's how you respond to what happens that matters."

the inside of a palm leaf taken on Ramsgate Beach, South africa.  I love the interwoven leaves that make up the whole, as well as the red aspects.

Proves once again that beauty can be in the detail, doesn't it? It never fails to amaze me how a very tiny thing can appear almost exactly the same as a very large thing. This leaf reminds me irresistibly of a venus fly trap!
