That's a majestic old gum tree that you captured. Lovely against the blue sky and decorated with shadows. Very nice!

Love how the shadows seem to creep up the tree trunk! Beautiful!

Hey Gena! Love the gum tree, and the angle at which you captured it. Amazing how it has those little "shadow" wrinkles in the curve. Happy SSS! Christine :D

A lovely tree in any lighting condition. The V-shaped trunk offers light in one side, shade on the other. But the majesty and beauty are inescapable, the size impressive. Yours is a beautiful SA, some year I would like to travel to such a place in my wheelchair. You have allowed us to se a gorgeous land!

At a growth rate of one foot per year this is a tree that indeed not only reaches for the sky but beats most others in the attempt.
This photograph shows the rewards 'looking up' can give as it captures the strength of one that knows of no other way to live.
