I came across this scanned image today and just had to post is as a Ruby Tuesday!
It was taken on a trip to Portugal in 1998. This is in Lisbon near the Palace Square,
just off the River Tagus, where, as far as I know the old style trams still run today.

love it very pretty picture
Wouldn't it be fun to ride that little tram? Nice find for RT.
Great Ruby Tuesday photo! I'd love to be there!
I love the tram color and with the coca-cola sign in front ^_^. Happy weekdays!

Perfect shot for red.
Great Ruby Tuesday post, Gena. It reminded me of the years (in the '80's) when my family and I lived in New Orleans. We had 'streetcars' --which were similar to the ones you show, and my sons rode the streetcar to school.
Hugs,
Betsy
A lovely photo - it would have been a good one for Shadow Shot Sunday!
The look of old Europe (to this American, anyway :>) is so classic. The light and delicate pastels on the buildings are offset by the louder red on the streetcar. All in all, a wonderful picture!
I like this slice of Old World charm, with just enough red to qualify for Ruby Tuesday!
I agree with Frayed, it would be good for Shadow Shot Sunday too!
Nifty ruby find ... and the photos from your world in the previous post are simply wonderful ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
I love this with the red trolley and the yellow building. Beautiful.
I immediately KNEW this was Lisboa! I was there one and a half years ago!
Ooo yes, this does look like an old Sydney tram. I love the livery and the curves in the street. It is a shame that Sydney removed all its trams in 1961. They are now thinking of bringing back in some sections to relieve some of the congestion.
I love trams. We were in Lisbon about 10 years ago & it seemed that Lisbon had the cutest trams, the oldest still running and the most modern in the world as well.
