I came across an array of Cherry Tree autumn leaves in our courtyard and
managed to capture a few worthy of keeping.
This one is my favorite of the set - I love the colour, the fine detail,
the light and shady bits .....

I do agree Gen, the shades are wonderful. I did not know that you were able to grow cherry trees there. PTA, especially my side of the mountain is much too warm for it.

Gorgeous, Gena! It is so easy to think "Brash is best" when photographing autumn. (Ask me!) This captures much of the feel of autumn - the richness, but also the sense of decay and imminent death... Jack
