Pink Orchid

It's Monday, time for macros and flowers ... so what better than a post that fulfills both
requirements!!   Okay so as I've been crazy busy, and am having to resort to archives
to select images (not a bad thing, since there are some gems and some not so great
images - so getting to clean out also!!
These were taken about a year ago ... love the colour and pattern, and fine detail,  not
crazy about the composition/ angle etc.etc. etc.  Just shows how much  one grows
and changes!!

I should make a plan and venture into my Father-in-Law's orchid house in his backyard.

Love the moth orchid.
And they stay with me for longer than most other houseplants.
It is the fat promising buds that I like best. Great pictures of these.

Gorgeous!!! I so envy you who can grow and make an orchid thrive!! Me?-------they always finish blooming and die all too soon.

This is a great set of macros. The color is so vibrant and you can really see the details of the petals against the light. Thanks for sharing.
