you examine the fine detail - the wonderful lilacy-purple shade,
the yellow brush like parts, the luminous petals, the pearly inside of
the flower, the wonderful black and white markings ......JPG)

The colour in this set of photos is fabulous! My love for Irises has grown over the years. I have four varieties now in the garden, including one just like yours. They remind me of my late Nan as she was named Iris.

Resplendent looking irises indeed, they are my favorites this time of the year so stately looking with fine details -- move over tulips, move over daffodils, move over johnny jump ups, the Irises are standing proud, tall and regale indeed.
