there's something about black and white...isn't there!
it gives us a chance to focus on texture!

and it's especially neat because we cannot see that way...without colour....I sometimes take the colour out of my flatscreen for certain movies...and it's a real lesson on film ... you suddenly see cropping and all the artsy fartsy aspects of cinematography!
