I love that balance between the sharp lines of the buildings and the soft gentle drape of the tree. Also great colors. That church and sky make a nice contrast that is so pleasing to the eye.

It's beautiful. I agree with Joops, the angle makes all the difference.

Thanks so much for playing along.

I have a sky posted now if you have time to stop back by: LATSOF - Good Day Sunshine!

The sky is a beautiful blue. It is fitting that this is a house of worship - the cross and nearby spire are reaching up to heaven. The buildings nearby may be taller, but the little church just seem so alive under the canopy of blue upstairs. So nice!

I love taking pictures of churches, and just church architecture in general , just like you Gena. When we were visiting college campuses, trying to decide where the kids would go to school, the first place I wanted to see on campus was the chapel. I know I get this from my childhood, when we would visit the old colonial towns and visit the magnificent churches on the highest hilltop... amazing doors and arched ceilings... the villagers would put everything they had into those buildings, and they were amazing!!
