Fenced In

Following on yesterday's post (Dew) of my discovery of the little Gaura flowers

 amidst veld grasses, I also managed to capture a few fence images ......  

I love how with the right light, the right angle and bit of thought, something

 as simple and mundane or even ugly can create a fascinating

image - I just love photography!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Here I focused on part of the fence and the dried grasses ..... a little too busy

 for my liking, but like it nevertheless.   By the way would you believe that

this is round the corner from home ... we are so fortunate to live in a

neighbourhood that borders a green belt .....

Foggy View

a misty view over the hills hear our home - taken during winter 2009.

I chose this perspective as normally you can see the roads and buildings in the

distance and on this particular morning the fog was so thick that that the enture area

appeared as if  it had been transposed elsewhere

Orange Sky

a deep orange sky with streaky clouds.

this image was caught with a wisp of cloud just passing infront of the sun.   

that coupled with the large upright lights of the highway give this image

an almost "unreal" look.

Farm Dam

an old farm dam, Buccleuch, Johannesburg

One of the few farm dams still around the suburb, which is fast being developed.
