Been looking Gena, not commenting or writing. Life hectic, maybe today! Love this photograph! Ever since reading "The Railway Children" I have had a fascination for railway lines. Something quite special about them, and the sound they make as the train rattles along! :)
Thinking Aloud is about my (almost obsessive) love for capturing the moment and my ongoing learning curve on photography. It's about places, people, adventures, travels... it's also about creating awareness of South Africa (where I live) sharing it's beauty, and whatever else may come up along the way. Welcome!

Those rails don't look like they get used very often.
Looking at the pic the words to Richard van der Westhuisen's song comes to mind. "Tussen treine, tussen stasies, lê daar basies net die leë spore..."
Is that a Dalmatian there by the tracks? Somebody needs to put him up before he gets run over.
